Growing tips

Surface-sow the tiny seeds and barely cover with a fine dusting of soil, about 3 mm, in trays or pots. Germination is slow, taking 14-21 days, so keep the surface lightly moist and warm. Transplant seedlings 20-30 cm apart into free-draining pots. Begin harvesting sprigs once plants are established, around 90-100 days from sowing, trimming regularly to keep them compact.
