Growing tips

Surface sow the dust-fine seeds and do not cover them, as they need light to germinate; press gently onto a moist, fine seed mix. Keep at 20-25°C; germination takes 7-14 days. Mist carefully to avoid washing seeds away. Transplant seedlings when they have 4-5 true leaves, spacing 20-25 cm apart. Pinch tips early to encourage bushy plants and deadhead spent blooms regularly. Flowering begins about 70-90 days after sowing and continues through the cool season.
