Uses

<p>Grown as an ornamental for sunny borders, rockeries, edging, ground cover and container displays. The cheerful blooms open with the sun and are ideal for low-maintenance, water-wise terrace gardens.</p>

Growing tips

<p>Sow seeds about 5 mm deep in trays or directly in well-drained mix, keeping at 18-22°C; germination takes <strong>7-14 days</strong>. Transplant when seedlings have 3-4 true leaves, spacing 20-25 cm apart in full sun. Avoid overwatering, deadhead spent blooms, and give maximum sunlight as flowers close in shade and dull light. Plants flower in roughly <strong>70-90 days</strong> from sowing.</p>
