Echeveria 'Perle von Nurnberg' is one of the most iconic ornamental succulents, forming an elegant rosette of pointed leaves in dusky pink, lavender and grey tones overlaid with a pearly frosted bloom. Bright sunlight deepens its purple-pink hues. A vigorous, easy hybrid, it produces tall arching stalks of coral-pink bell flowers in summer. It is a staple of succulent arrangements, bouquets and gifts. Needing only bright light, gritty soil and occasional watering, it suits beginners. In India it grows superbly on sunny balconies and rooftops with shelter from heavy monsoon rain.
