Growing tips

Sow seeds February to June. As the seed is fine and needs light, surface sow on a moist mix and barely press in; do not bury deeply. Germination takes 7-14 days in warm conditions (22-28°C). Transplant seedlings at the 3-4 leaf stage into pots or beds, spacing 20-25 cm apart. Plants begin flowering about 60-80 days from sowing and hold their crests for weeks.
