Growing tips

Sow seeds July to September in seed trays, barely covered (about 3-5 mm deep) with fine soil. Surface warmth of 18-24°C gives germination in 10-18 days. Transplant seedlings to pots or beds at the 4-6 leaf stage, spacing 30-40 cm apart. Pinch growing tips once or twice to encourage bushy growth and more flowers. Plants begin blooming about 90-120 days from sowing, peaking through the winter months.
