Growing tips

Sow seeds 0.5-1 cm deep in seed trays. Seeds germinate in 6-10 days at 20-28°C. Transplant seedlings to bigger pots when they reach the 4-5 leaf stage, spacing plants 45-60 cm apart. Stake or cage the plants and pinch side shoots for vining types. Expect the first ripe fruit 60-75 days after transplanting, with picking continuing for weeks.
