Growing tips

Surface-sow or barely cover the tiny seeds, as light aids germination. Keep warm at 22-28°C; seeds sprout in 7-14 days. Transplant or thin to 30-45 cm spacing to allow the tall plants to develop. Stake taller varieties in windy spots. Plants begin flowering in roughly 8-10 weeks and the tassels last for weeks on the plant.
