Growing tips

Surface sow the fine seeds and press lightly with just a sprinkle of soil, keeping them at 20-30°C. Germination takes 7-14 days. Mist gently to keep the surface damp. Transplant seedlings to pots when 5-7 cm tall, spacing 30 cm apart in beds. Pinch off flower spikes to keep the plant leafy and bushy. Leaf harvest can begin about 60-70 days after sowing and continues for over a year.
