Uses

Growing tips

<p>Sow seeds <strong>1 cm deep</strong> directly where they will grow, as borage dislikes root disturbance. Germination takes <strong>7-14 days</strong>. Thin or space plants <strong>30-45 cm apart</strong>. It grows quickly and flowers in about <strong>50-60 days</strong>. Harvest young leaves regularly and let some flowers set seed for self-sowing.</p>

Sow in the cooler season from October to February in the plains. Direct sow where it will grow, since borage resents transplanting once its taproot forms.
Can borage be grown in a pot?
